Chalet d’Ambrumenil is in the heart of the ancient Courchevel Village. The chalet is an extremely comfortable and traditional village farmhouse, beautifully modernised without spoiling its ancient appeal.
Chalet staff live in (in staff rooms) to ensure the best possible service. All chalet staff are recruited from Orchards Cookery School.
The following is included for all those staying at the chalet:
- Breakfast: Freshly baked baguettes from local baker, porridge and a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and eggs, served with freshly brewed coffee and teas. We do offer The Serious Breakfast option by prior arrangement.
- Afternoon tea: A variety of teas, hot chocolate and coffee are left ready for guests with a freshly baked cake.
- Early evening drinks: Accompanied by a selection of delicious home made canapés.
- Two course dinner: Prepared daily in chalet {6 evenings a week} with fresh meat or fish delivered to the chalet. A choice of red and white wines is served throughout dinner. Coffee and teas are always available after dinner.
- Cheese board: A selection of locally sourced cheeses provided.
The chalet is just 30 metres from the piste and the Le Roys ski lift. The ski school, ski hire shop, ski pass office and tourist office are all within 100 metres.
While the outside of the chalet is in keeping with the rustic local environment, the interior has been completely restored, and last year further enhanced for extra comfort. As it is privately owned, we have furnished the chalet to a high standard, with some furniture being made especially for the chalet. There are sofas, comfortable armchairs in the sitting room plus a club fender around the open log fire.
